Meet Kristian
Kristian Reyes has lived in Dublin for over ten years and has enjoyed volunteering in the community he loves. He coached Dublin Little League teams for ten years and served in various positions for the DLL Board of Directors, including Scheduling Director and Treasurer. Kristian has served on the Schaefer Ranch HOA Board of Directors, chaperoned Wells Middle School band trips to Disneyland, and serves as a Percussion Parent Liaison for Dublin High School's Irish Guard. He was appointed by the Dublin City Council to lend his financial expertise to the city's Fiscal Sustainability Task Force, and was Wells' representative for Dublin USD's Budget Committee.
As a veteran in the lighting and electrical industry for close to thirty years, Kristian's business experience includes a variety of sales and management roles. He has managed multiple small businesses as well as profit centers at Fortune 500 corporations with budgets over $100 million. Hailing from Southern California, Kristian graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Business Administration, and UC Irvine with a Master of Business Administration. Kristian moved to the Bay Area in 2004 to marry his wife Tamara. They moved from Oakland to Dublin in 2014 with their two children. Tamara is a speech-language pathologist who has worked in private practice for almost 25 years, working with public schools, the Regional Center of the East Bay, Kaiser, and private clients. She also serves as a part-time guest teacher at several DUSD schools, primarily in special education.
Kristian and Tamara have a daughter Kira who recently started college at the University of Arizona majoring in Astrophysics and Optical Engineering. Their son Will is a freshman at Dublin High School and is involved in the music and baseball programs. Together they enjoy traveling, and learning about different cultures around the world.
